Hero MotoCorp has updated its best-selling bike Splendor in India with two new variants – Splendor Plus Xtec and Super Splendor Xtec. Both these variants come with many new features, which make it better than before.
Features of Hero Splendor Plus Xtec and Super Splendor Xtec
Design: Talking about the design, no major changes have been made in both the models. The same graphics, headlight, taillight and alloy wheels are seen in it. However, Super Splendor Xtec has been introduced in two new color options – Candy Blazing Red and Matte Axis Gray.
Features: The biggest change in both the models has been made regarding the features. It has features like fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging port and rear time mileage readout. Apart from this, safety features like side stand engine cutoff and call-SMS alert have also been provided.
** Engine:** Talking about the engine, no changes have been made in both the models. Both have a 97.2cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, which generates 7.9 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. This engine comes with the company’s i3S system, which shuts down the engine when stopped in traffic and helps in increasing mileage.
Price:
According to the ex-showroom price of Delhi, the starting price of Hero Splendor Plus Xtec is Rs 72,900, while the starting price of Hero Super Splendor Xtec is Rs 83,368.
Which bike to choose:
If you are looking for a budget friendly and mileage giving bike, then Hero Splendor Plus Xtec can be a good option. On the other hand, if you are willing to spend a little more and want a bike with the latest features, then Hero Super Splendor Xtec can be chosen.
